• Always wear safety goggles when looking in a hot kiln.
• Always wear appropriate welding gloves when touching a hot kiln.
• Always use a respirator when mixing kiln wash and when scraping kiln wash off of shelves and molds.

These Fused Glass Tutorials are meant to give you an idea of how to do certain things.  All kilns are different, so you need to experiment with your kiln to get the best results.
