Flattened and Slumped Alcohol and Wine Bottles 

Bottles fused flat and bottles slumped into spoon rests make excellent gifts, especially for people who love Grey Goose Vodka, Absolut Vodka, other kinds of alcohol or people who are wine enthusiasts.

There are many ways you can use your fused or slumped bottle.  They make great appetizer trays or dishes for things like a warm chocolate dip with strawberries, cheese and crackers or a special dip.  Put them on your stove as a spoon rest or hang the flat bottles on your wall.   

 We have more kinds of fused and slumped alcohol and wine bottles that are not on our website, yet.  If there is a particular kind of alcohol or wine bottle that you would like, send us an email at fused.glass.hello@gmail.com and we will tell you if we can get that particular bottle. 

Custom Orders

Do you have a special bottle you would like us to fuse flat or make into a spoon rest?  We would love to do this for you.  Some bottles have a glass enamel painted onto it, like the Grey Goose Vodka Bottles, which will flatten or slump without any problems.

If your bottle has a paper or plastic label, we will do our best to remove the label intact, however, not all labels will come off in one piece.  We will only know for sure what will happen when we try to remove the label.  You must be willing to take that chance.  We test the label on a corner, and if the label will not come off in one piece, we will contact you for further instructions.  In some cases, the bottle owner has been able to get replacement labels from the winery or alcohol producer.

If the label comes off in one piece, we will flatten your bottle.  We can't make a spoon rest, because it doesn't work to glue a paper label into a curved spoon rest.  Afterwards, we will glue the label onto the front of the flattened bottle and add four layers of a food safe varnish to protect the label. 

Other alcohol or wine bottles may have a painted label, but don't survive the firing process.  It is hard to know until the bottle is fused or slumped.
